Our Competitive Dance Program is designed for dedicated dancers who are passionate about training, growth, and performance. Dancers receive high level technical instruction while building discipline, confidence, and a strong sense of teamwork in a supportive, motivating environment.
We are proud of our alumni, many of whom have gone on to attend top college dance programs such as USC Glorya Kaufman School of Dance, NYU Tisch School of the Arts (The Pulse Dance Project), Santa Clara University College of Arts and Sciences, Washington University in St. Louis, University of Wisconsin Dance Team, and Connecticut College, where a student received the Joan Connell Memorial Award in Dance.
Our dancers have performed in regional and Broadway productions including White Christmas, Hairspray, Legally Blonde, and The Sound of Music, and have danced with professional companies such as Visceral Dance Chicago and 773 Dance Project, as well as appearing in music videos. Our alumni have also gone on to teach at NYU Pulse Dance and work as professional Master Teachers on convention circuits.
Since 2008, multiple BBDC students (each year) have earned assistant positions on convention circuits, including Excel in Motion, Elite Performance Challenge Convention, and Ambition.
Our program not only prepares dancers for success at competitions, but opens doors to opportunities at the highest levels of dance.
